Business opportunities in Romania we are keen to find partners in
the UK to forward our business and would be pleased to hear from individuals or
companies wishing to discuss the possibilities to mutually benefit from our
knowledge first, if you found this site you will know we know how to work with
the internet that's no easy task these days, it takes a lot of knowledge
to achieve good results. some companies pay a lot of money to get the results we
get lets talk business opportunities Romania all the major
cities have most things as in the uk so you probably need to check any ideas you
have carefully. i.e. pizza hut mc donalds, kfc, clothes shops foods shops
metro (makro) all the major players are here already mostly non uk companies. communication
transport cars trucks all got the tee shirt. not such a backward place as some
may think? if you are already in business you can or may have already
researched Romania, there are however a few areas not yet tapped by the outside
world (read on) Romania is a large country consisting of a few major cities
and a few more larger to medium cities and towns, the rest is all very small
communities and villages and vast expanses of agricultural land forest and
mountains. key areas to consider population, market share, need for
product or service, desire for product service, current availability or
competition. obvious as this may seem many people have a good idea that seems
great for the uk or the rest of Europe but this is a different country and a totally
different culture. so what have we got so far not much? well the secret is
there isn't one. this is such a fast moving place the minute you think
of an idea someone else beats you to it. You have to be fast to make any
business here and the Romanians are fickle, they soon get bored and move on to
the next new thing or place or fad. the economy of business is basic the
market is broken down to the haves and the have not expressed in cash
terms there are a few more "have a little" type moving up in
cash terms Romanian people like to be seen as successful and providing for
their families needs, they also like to be a bit flash if they can afford it,
credit is mainly used in car purchase or leasing, or white goods and electronics
(mainly by lower income families) most if not all property in Romania is owned
outright residential and still many of the original business or commercial premises
are owned by an individual or family. mortgages are available but not very
commonly used. for this reason it is more common for a family to raise cash
needed by selling land or property held in the family sometimes at a time of
need as medical treatment is expensive. similar to nursing homes in the uk. thus
there is a lot of property for sale, and wise companies have been buying it up
in the major cities thus forcing the prices to rise dramatically some
indications point to 400% on a year which seems crazy but in a major city not unbelievable
try looking at reports from deloitte and touche. so what to do for business
its up to you but my ideas are, land and property very lucrative tourism in Romania
potentially very lucrative right now if you have a large company, construction
all types including civil works other thing is luxury goods if you want to
play about and be a bit flash, good fun. the major holiday home market has
been directed at the major black sea resorts, that's fine if you want a beach
holiday, but its been sewn up in terms of price. most of the cheap buys have
been had and if you buy there you will not be getting such a bargain. it is
considered expensive, still may be cheap if that's what you are looking for, I
would look however to the smaller undeveloped resorts first. |
